As a cinematographer, Joseph has shot for fashion publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair and T: The New York Times Style Magazine, and for brands ranging from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Prada to Maybelline and L’Oréal. His work has premiered at The Venice Film Festival and The New York Film Festival, and on Billboard.com, NPR.com, and MTV. Music industry clients include legendary labels like Universal Music, Capitol Records and Blue Note Records.

Equally at home on stages large and small, Joseph has filmed at venues ranging from Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre, The Kennedy Center and Jacob’s Pillow to downtown New York City hot spots like Joe’s Pub and The Box. His ongoing multimedia collaborations with Broadway choreographer Sonya Tayeh and avant-garde musicians such as Angela McCluskey, Paul Cantelon, Kenyon Phillips, and Raven O + The Pious have provided Joseph with the opportunity to combine cinematography with his considerable expertise in animation, editing, scoring, and the coding of custom algorithms for generative music and visuals.

Since 2015, Joseph has gained renown as the creator of the 30 Year Time-Lapse project, a groundbreaking feat of photographic ingenuity, custom coding and data processing wherein the New York City skyline is continuously captured every 30 seconds for a 30-year period spanning 2015 to 2046. Featured in news outlets ranging from CNN and ABC to Condé Nast Traveler and the New York Post, the 30 Year Time-Lapse has made Joseph a disruptor within the world of time-lapse photography.
